Reporting to:  Operations and Sales Director
Salary: Salary Neg. basic per month (depending on experience and current remuneration structure)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Manager will oversee all operations departments, to ensure an accurate, expedient and efficient delivery of service to all internal and external stakeholders
 
DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
 
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or another field relevant to the organization  
RE5 and RE1 
 
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Sound Knowledge of the financial industry
  • Previous experience dealing with a dialer, various system platforms and the integration thereof. 
  • Experience implementing policy regulations and operational procedures that promote organizational efficiency and internal controls 
  • Oversee the development of operational strategy in cooperation with the Operations Director and other department managers. Establish and maintain appropriate systems to monitor, evaluate and report on all operational departments
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access
  • Data analysis  
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing major projects or initiatives.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace 
  • Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment 
  • Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view

  • Assist with recruitment, screening, hiring and orienting of new recruits 
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Director
